I'm a former elementary school teacher turned instructional designer with a passion for making engaging, memorable, and effective learning experiences. 

I have been teaching in classrooms since 2015, and received my Masters of the Arts in Teaching from James Madison University in 2019. 

After the 2022-2023 school year, I decided to make a change and found instructional design. After teaching on Zoom and creating digital learning solutions for most of a school year, it wasn't as far of a leap as I imagined.

I know what effective learning looks like, and how powerful its outcomes can be, and wanted to apply my skills in a new setting, with new clientele.

I live in Alexandria, Virginia with my husband, daughter, and dog, Oliver. In my spare time, you might find me thinking about Star Wars or Disney Parks.
